Cell cycle profile of WT and Phlpp1^−/− MEFs. Ethanol fixed WT or Phlpp1^−/− MEFs were treated with RNase, stained with propidium iodide, and analyzed by flow cytometry to determine their cell cycle profile. To determine the percentage of cells at various stages of the cell cycle (G₁, S, or G₂/M), DNA content (2n versus 4n) was assessed. The graph shows the percentage of cells in each phase of the cell cycle. Values are means ± SEM. Data are averages from four experiments performed independently.
