SDS-PAGE of the binding assays between Tet38-His, Tet38-ΔL1(₃₈DDL₄₀)-His, Tet38-ΔL7(₄₁₁FPG₄₁₃)-His, and CD36. Enterokinase-treated CD36 was applied to an Ni column that had been previously loaded with Tet38-His, Tet38-ΔL1(₃₈DDL₄₀)-His, or Tet38-ΔL7(₄₁₁FPG₄₁₃)-His. Flowthrough (FT), wash (W), and elution fractions (E1 and E2) were collected and submitted to SDS-PAGE. Reference proteins included Tet38 and CD36. Tet38-L1-His is equal to Tet38-ΔL1(₃₈DDL₄₀)-His, and Tet38-L7-His is equal to Tet38-ΔL7(₄₁₁FPG₄₁₃)-His. Molecular weights of proteins in the assays are ∼45 kDa for Tet38 and ∼66 kDa for CD36.
