Heat resistance of meat-borne E. coli isolates carrying LHR. Isolates were arbitrarily selected based on the presence or absence of ClpK2. Overnight cultures were exposed to 60°C for 1 min, 5 min, 10 min, and 20 min. The data presented are representative of at least two independent experiments, each with three technical replicates.
