Interventions | Aprepitant (40 mg) orally 1 to 2 hours before induction of anaesthesia and 2 mL saline intravenously (IV) within the last 30 minutes of surgery or oral placebo identical to aprepitant 1 to 2 hours before induction of anaesthesia and ondansetron (4 mg) IV within the last 30 minutes of surgery; all patients received dexamethasone (8 mg) IV after induction |
