Kinetic Scheme for adsorption of Arg onto TiO2 NP’s. A weakly adsorbed form which retains some freedom or motion is designated B and a strongly bound essentially immobilized form is designated C. Adsorption from the bulk to weakly bound and strongly bound form is designated by kinetic constants kAB and kAC, respectively. Desorption from the weakly bound and strongly bound forms is designated by kinetic constants kBA and kCA, respectively. Interconversion between bound forms B and C is quantified by kBC and kCB.
