(a) GMSCs were stained positive (>90%) for MSC surface markers CD73, CD105, CD90, CD166, and negative for hematopoietic markers CD45, CD34, CD14, and HLA DR. The expression of markers were in agreement with the criteria identified by the committee of International Society for Cellular Therapy. (b) GMSCs upon induction in osteogenic medium for a week showed increased expression of CD10 (Neprilysin), CD92 (choline transporter-like protein 1), and CD 140b (platelet-derived growth factor receptor beta) as compared with the undifferentiated GMSCs confirming the induction of osteogenic differentiation.
