Host ranges of each phage against laboratory and clinical P. aeruginosa strains (see Table S1 in the supplemental material). A spot test was performed with a 5-μl undiluted phage stock (approximately 10⁹ PFU/ml). Results were evaluated as “not clear” when no inhibition zone was observed, while they were evaluated as “clear” and “turbid” when completely clear and turbid inhibition zones were observed, respectively. The experiment was performed at least three times.
