The mortality rate was 28.5% in CCIS ≥ 5 followed by 4.9% in CCIS 3–4, 0.6% in CCIS 1–2, and 0.1% in CCIS 0. CCIS = age-adjusted Charlson comorbidity index score, COVID-19 = coronavirus disease 2019.
