MCs were stimulated with various concentrations of zymosan or medium alone (control spontaneous MC migration) for 3 h at 37°C in a Boyden microchamber. Ten HPF were counted in each assay (×250). Spontaneous cell migration served as a control and was identified to be 100%. Results are shown as the mean ± SD of three independent experiments, and each experiment was carried out in duplicate samples (each experiment was performed on 2 animals/MC isolates). **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001
