SNHG7 promotes the malignancy of ESCC cells by regulating miR-625. EC109 cells were transfected with SNHG7-expressing plasmid and miR-625 mimics, and TE1 cells were transfected with SNHG7 siRNA and miR-625 inhibitor. (A,B) The overexpression and silencing efficiency of miR-625 was verified by qRT-PCR; (C,E) CCK-8 and (D,F) EdU experiments were applied to study the roles of SNHG7 on cell proliferation via the regulation of miR-625, scale bar represents 100 µm; *P<0.05. red: EdU, blue: DAPI, purple: merge. (G,H) scratch experiments was used to study the roles of SNHG7 on cell migration via the regulation of miR-625; scale bar represents 500 µm; magnification, 40×. (I,J) Transwell experiments was applied to study the roles of SNHG7 on cell invasion via the regulation of miR-625, scale bar represents 50 µm, cells were stained with 0.5% crystal violet solution; *P<0.05. SNHG7, small nucleolar RNA host gene 7; ESCC, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
