Prevalence of conditions associated with preserved left ventricular ejection fraction and increased risk of sudden cardiac death. The Venn diagram displays the four most frequent conditions associated to sudden cardiac death, i.e., coronary artery disease, heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, atrial fibrillation and acute myocarditis. Many conditions overlap with others. The overall incidence of SCD in each subgroup is largely unknown due to difficult data collection.
