Nanostructured microemulsions system carrying 0.3% sorafenib (NaMESys-SOR) inhibited laser-induced choroidal neovascularization (CNV) when delivered by topical administration. CNV volumes were measured after 7 days from laser-induced damage by Isolectin B4 staining of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE)-choroid flat mounts. n = 5 mice per group.
