Various degrees of histopathological changes were observed in Cd exposure groups, mainly including focal hepatocyte necrosis/lysis (*) and degeneration. The co-administration of SeNPs with Cd reduced the metal toxic histological changes in the liver in a dose-dependent manner, which was more obvious for LSeNPs. CV-centrilobular vein.
