Viability of bacteria. (B) Absorbance change by MTT assay repeated three times for each (λabs = 560 nm), (probe) = 3.3 μM, (S. aureus) = 3.0 × 108 CFU·mL−1, (E. coli) = 3.0 × 108 CFU·mL−1. Welch’s t-test was used to compare control and probes. Differences were calculated with two-side test with an alpha level of 0.05. Asterisks indicate significant differences (p < 0.05).
