¹, Cell sensitivity was assessed by cell growth inhibition assay. Cells were seeded and 24 h later exposed to each drug and to their simultaneous combination for 72 h. Cells were then counted using a cell counter. ², The drug interaction was analyzed by the Chou and Talalay method, calculating a combination index (CI). CI values indicating synergistic drug interactions are in bold. Mean CI values ± SE of three independent experiments are reported.
