The average age among members of the H+A+ group was significantly higher than that of the other groups. Averages of the other quantitative variables were not significantly different among the groups. The number of women in groups H–A+ and H+A+ was significantly higher. Endothelin-1 plasma level was significantly higher in the H+A+ group in comparison with the other groups (p = 0.018).
