Pigs received different combinations of drugs, followed by initiation of an extra-corporeal circulation with (cases) or without (sham, control) a CytoSorb cartridge. Three animals were randomly allocated to each group. All drugs were administered intravenously one hour before extra-corporeal circulation initiation.
