Disease phenotypes of progeny from the NB7 CRISPR T0 line.
Individual plants with genotypes homozygous (Ho) and heterozygous (He) for the 53-kb deletion and wild-type (WT) plants were inoculated with PXO86. Lesion lengths were measured 12 days after inoculation on three to five leaves of individual plants. Individual segregants were genotyped for the presence or absence of the 53-kb chromosomal fragment deletion by PCR. Ho, segregants homozygous for the 53-kb deletion; He, segregants heterozygous for the 53-kb deletion; WT, progeny homozygous for the WT genotype; NB7, the parent Xa7 isogenic line.
