A relative comparison of the group mean for peak eccentric (ECC) torque protocol (PETP) test power (1,691 ± 448 W) with previous studies (n = 21) that have used non-ECC measures to prescribe semi-recumbent ECC cycling intensities (i.e., power outputs as wattages; n = 34).
