Presynaptic homeostatic depression (PHD) works successfully with a recombinant line of OK371-Gal4 and UAS-VGlut. (A) Neuromuscular junction (NMJ) electrophysiological data for miniature excitatory postsynaptic potentials (mEPSP), excitatory postsynaptic potentials (EPSP), and quantal content (QC). Data are normalized to wild-type (WT; w¹¹¹⁸) values. VGlut, OK371/+ NMJs have increased mEPSP but normal EPSP because of decreased QC, indicative of successful PHD (***p < 0.001 vs. WT by one-way ANOVA with Tukeys post-hoc).
