To investigate the relationship between miRNA and lt-SLCO1B3 expression, we profiled the miRNA transcriptome of cells treated with abiraterone using NanoString. (a) Differentially expressed miRNA species above 1.5-fold change and P < 0.05 in an unpaired Student’s T-test were selected for further analysis. (b) miRNA–mRNA binding prediction programs miRanda and TargetScan identified binding between hsa-miR-579-3p and SLCO1B3.
