Averaged displacement curves of MDA-231 and MCF-7 cells after pharmacological intervention with different inhibitors targeting specific components of the cytoskeleton. Microtubules were depolymerized by treatment with 0.08 µM Demecolcine. Myosin-II was inhibited by treatment with 50 µM Blebbistatin. Actin polymerization was inhibited by treatment with 0.25 µM Latrunculin A. The control group was treated with an equal volume of the inhibitor solvent, in this case DMSO.
