Cell number was counted each day at same time for 7 days. Each point represents average cell number of two dishes. The experiment was repeated twice with similar results. Shown here is a representative result. Each data point is an average of duplicate counts ± SD. (B). Doubling time. Doubling time of each line was calculated using growth rate data in (A).
