Energy dependence of the density distribution $\rho \left(z\right)$ in the LEED states: (a) $k_{\left|\right|}=1.780$ Å${}^{-1}$ effects the p branch emission, and (b) $k_{\left|\right|}=1.633$ Å${}^{-1}$ the s branch, see Figure 4b. The horizontal bars at 37.7 eV (a) and 38.5 eV (b) indicate the final states at the intensity peaks in Figure 4b.
