X = cyclohexylalanine (Cha), Z = propargyloxyphenylalanine (PrF); Z = PrFPEG. ΔΔGf value for each PEGylated variant is given ± standard error relative to its non-PEGylated counterpart in kcal/mol at 50 μM protein concentration, in 20 mM sodium phosphate buffer (pH 7), at the melting temperature of the non-PEGylated protein. Data for WW are from reference 22. Data for variants ER and pER are from reference 23.
