SAL, salience network (49 ROIs in 2 hemispheres); SM, somatomotor network (52 ROIs); LIM, limbic network (28 ROIs); VIS: visual network (59 ROIs); DMN: default mode network (83 ROIs); FP, frontoparietal network (45 ROIs); ATT, attention network (44 ROIs). According to the cortical hierarchy hypothesis, the SM and VIS networks are lower-order sensory systems, whereas the other networks are higher-order association systems (Huntenburg et al. 2018).
