Small for gestational age is a birth weight less than the 10^th percentile. Intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) is a fetal weight estimated to be less than the 10^th percentile on ultrasound. Complicated gastroschisis is defined as pulmonary hypoplasia, intestinal atresia or stricture, or ischemic bowel prior to closure. Late onset sepsis is a positive blood culture after 72 hours of age.
