Downregulation of TNFα and IFNγ levels in chronic EAE. TNFα and IFNγ concentrations secreted by MOG-stimulated cells isolated from the acute phase were considered 100%. Using the concentrations secreted by MOG-stimulated cells isolated from the chronic phase, we calculated the percentage of TNFα and IFNγ levels secreted, relative to the acute phase. Data represents the percentage of downregulation, calculated as the difference between 100 and the relative percentage obtained at chronic phase per animal (mean ± SEM).
