Differential proteome analysis comparing the s479 deletion strain and wild-type strain was used determining the log2 fold change deletion vs. wild type (column on/log2). If detected only in the deletion strain, the protein is listed as “on.” Additionally, HVO–gene numbers (column gene) encoding the proteins are given alongside the gene product (column product) and KEGG/COG assignments (column KEGG pathway/COG assignment) informing on the metabolic pathway(s). Proteins encoded by the znu operon are given in bold.
