Application of IL-2 in 52 clinical trials for cancer therapy. IL-2 has been used in combination with lymphocytes, NK cells, genetically engineered cells, monoclonal antibodies, and tumor antigens as well as with radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and chemoradiotherapy. Dose finding, selected studies, and effects of recombinant IL-2 are shown. Numbers in parentheses are the number of clinical trials.
