The EpiGraphDB platform (epigraphdb.org) hosts a treasure trove of information that can assist with causal inference analyses. For instance, displayed in this figure are various environmental factors and genes that provide evidence of a causal effect on risk of coronary heart disease (CHD). Furthermore, depicting how these factors may collectively contribute to disease risk as shown using automatically generated network graphs allows the user to identify supporting evidence and hypothesis generation.
