Effect of RWP on primary human monocyte cell number. Primary human monocytes were treated with increasing concentrations of RWP, ranging from 2.5 to 3200 μg/mL, and cell viability was assessed by cell count after 72-hour exposure. The mean values ± SD of three independent experiments with four replicates in each are shown. Differences were significant (p < 0.001) according to one-way ANOVA. Dunnett's multiple comparisons test was run as post hoc test to compare treatment groups with the control group (0, set at 100%); where indicated, differences were statistically significant (∗∗∗p < 0.001).
