Effect of the second chilling stress by measuring chlorophyll content in seedlings of yellow- (Ye-), medium purple- (MP-), and deep purple (DP-) seed seedlings. Chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, total chlorophyll, and chlorophyll a/chlorophyll b ratio, samples were taken before chilling stress (BCS) (18 °C) and after chilling stress (ACS) (4 °C for 6 h) under non-acclimated (NA) (18 °C) and chilling-acclimated (CA) (4 °C) conditions. Data are means ± SD of three biological replicates. Significant differences, evaluated by t-test, are marked by asterisks: *p ≤ 0.05, when compared to NA-BCS vs. CA-BCS and NA-ACS vs. CA-ACS within seed color group
