CAD-RADS allows three distinct groups of patients to be defined: those with normal coronary arteries (CAD-RADS 0); those with atheroma probably not associated with ischaemia (CAD-RADS 1–2); those with atheroma possibly or probably associated with ischaemia (CAD-RADS 3–5).
