Meta-analysis of static two-point discrimination (clinical). There was no significant effect (p = 0.22) of the reconstructive method on static two-point discrimination detectable. No heterogeneity among the analyzed studies was detectable (I2 = 0%). Note that while the estimated effects of interventions for both studies were only slightly different (0.53 vs 0.50), Ahmad’s study was given more weight and therefore more influence on the average effect of interventions due to the narrower confidence interval in comparison to Manoli’s work (2.14 vs. 2.66).
