The triaxial accelerometer (GT3+, ActiGraph Corp, Pensacola, FL, USA; 100 Hz) was positioned securely around the waist, centered over the sacrum. Participants wore the device for all “easy” continuous runs each week of the competitive season. The group baseline run is pictured in the figure.
