ROC analysis of the performance of indirect tests for fibrosis and simple liver blood tests in the detection of advanced fibrosis (composite clinical judgement) in patients referred with suspected alcohol-related liver disease (N=231). AUROCs with 95% CI in brackets: FIB4: 0.801 (0.742 to 0.860); APRI: 0.763 (0.697 to 0.829); AST:ALT ratio: 0.739 (0.668 to 0.809); ALT: 0.512 (0.433 to 0.591); AST: 0.711 (0.640 to 0.782); ALP: 0.708 (0.638 to 0.777); 1/platelet: 0.714 (0.641 to 0.787).
