Steps of Arthroscopic Capsular Reconstruction With Acellular Dermal Allograft

1.Enter the hip through the previous capsular rent.

2.Perform takedown of the capsular scar and identify the competent capsule.

3.Identify whether the capsule is intact on the acetabular side. If not, use suture anchors to fix the graft on the acetabular side.

4.If there is a capsular defect or if the capsule apposition appears over-tensioned, consider performing a capsular reconstruction.

5.Place sutures around the capsular periphery.

6.Place sutures sequentially through the graft, paying attention to meticulous suture management.

7.Parachute the graft down the cannula and tie into position.
