Independent Samples T test was used for days on mechanical ventilation, Fisher’s exact test for 30-day mortality and Mann-Whitney U test for others. Within group comparison was made by by Wilcoxon for APACHEII and SOFA scores and GCS. *p-value for comparison between group; ¥ p-value for comparison within group.
