Singh 2015.

Methods RCT
Participants Women with >1 previous failed IVF attempts
Interventions Study group: endometrial scratching will be done once from days 14‐18 of menstrual cycle within the same IVF cycle. Anterior and posterior walls of endometrium will be scratched gently by a 4‐mm disposable Karman’s cannula inserted through the cervical os, and endometrial tissue will be sent for genetic analysis. Oral antibiotic ciprofloxacin 500 mg will be given for 5 days after the procedure
Control group: no intervention. To avoid the possible confounding effect of antibiotic on IVF success, the control group will be administered the same antibiotic
Outcomes Live birth, miscarriage
However, the data appear to be inconsistent as there is a much higher implantation rate in the intervention arm yet a lower live birth rate. It appears the ongoing pregnancies may refer to pregnancies which were ongoing at the end of the trial (i.e. could be counted as a live birth); however this could not be confirmed with the authors.
