USP29 knockdown inhibits Cdc25A-mediated cancer cell growth in vitro and in vivo. (A) HeLa cells were transfected with the indicated plasmids, and cell viability was assessed. (B) HeLa cells were transfected with the indicated plasmids, and a soft agar colony formation assay was performed. (C) HeLa cells were transfected with the indicated plasmids, and the wound healing efficiency was analyzed. (D) A Matrigel-assisted invasion assay was performed in HeLa cells transfected with the indicated plasmids. (E) Mock control, USP29 knockdown, and USP29 knockdown HeLa cells in which Cdc25A had been reconstituted were implanted into NSG nude mice for in vivo experiments. Tumor volume was measured and represented graphically.
