Water solubility of 1G244. Different concentrations of 1G244 were dissolved in decreasing concentrations of DMSO to determine the solubility of the ligand in water. 50% (squares) and 25% (triangles) DMSO dilutions were compared with a standard curve of 100% DMSO (circles). The absorbance of 1G244 was measured at 262 nm. Measurements were performed in triplicates and the absorbance of 10 mM 1G244 in 100% DMSO was used to normalize the measurements.
