Supplementary Figure 9.

Mouse Milk Competes with CT-B subunit for Binding GM-1. Cholera toxin B subunit (Millipore Sigma, Cat. No. C9972), at 10 µg/mL, was mixed with WT milk (1:50 serial dilution, diluted 1:2 down the plate) for 1 hour, and then incubated with GM-1 coated ELISA plates for 1 hour (Sigma-Aldrich, Cat. No. 37758-47-7). There was a significant inhibition of CT-B binding to GM-1 in milk. Plates were developed as described in the materials and methods section. The experiment was performed in duplicate twice. (*P < 0.05). Significance was determined by 2-way ANOVA followed by Sidak's multiple comparison test.
