Ninety-day mRS data were available for 45 of the 46 patients, with missing data for 1 patient who otherwise would have been included among patients with mild deficits and clinical-imaging mismatch. mRS denotes modified Rankin Scale. Mild deficits indicate NIHSS <6 from 6 to 16 h after time last seen normal or <10 from 16 to 24 h. Poor ASPECTS (Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score) indicates a score <6. Clinical-imaging mismatch indicates the patient did not meet the DAWN clinical-imaging mismatch or DEFUSE-3 target mismatch imaging profile. Large core indicates >70 cc volume using a relative cerebral blood flow <30% threshold.
