Fig. (7)

Poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma of the right lung without nodal involvement. Left enlarged adrenal lesion suspected to be metastases on CT scan, showed high FDG uptake. The pathological diagnosis of metastases was confirmed after resection. Adrenalectomy of an isolated adrenal metastasis from NSCLC has been shown to improve the long-term disease-free survival of such patients.
