Effect of inhibitor peptides on MERS-CoV infection. MERS-CoV was pre-incubated with two-fold serially diluted peptide 4, 5 or 6 (n = 3) for 30 min at 37°C. Vero cells were treated with the mixture of the virus and each peptide and then incubated for 4 days in DMEM/F12 containing 0.6% oxoid agar.
