Measurement of transcript levels for antioxidant agents. Transcript levels of catalase (A), superoxide dismutase 1 (B), thioredoxin (C), peroxiredoxin (D) were measured by qRT-PCR as described in Materials and Methods. GADPH was used as housekeeping gene. Results are expressed as mean ± SE from 4 different control and osteoporotic samples. Measurements were performed in duplicate. *p<0.05, unpaired t-student.
