Figure 2

Comparison of the (a) intra- and/or extra-hepatic recurrence rate of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and (b) overall survival rates between the early extrahepatic recurrence (EHR), non-early EHR, and non-EHR groups. The 6-month cumulative recurrence rates among the early EHR, non-early EHR, and non-EHR groups were 77.7%, 39.7%, and 21.9%, respectively. The 1-year, 5-year, and 10-year overall survival rates were 51.6%, 9.7%, and 0% in the early EHR group; 98.4%, 58.7%, and 4.8% in the non-early EHR group; and 96.4%, 63.2%, and 13.2% in the non-EHR group, respectively (p < 0.001).
