The majority of surgical appropriateness, critical care management, peripheral arterial disease, valvular disease and congenital heart disease were associated with medium to large effect sizes. The miscellaneous category (syncope and COVID-19) had an even split between small and moderate to large effect sizes. The majority of heart failure, echo and pharmacology were associated with small effect sizes with and without the ceiling effect. PAD, peripheral arterial disease.
