Accretion rates are reported in meters per thousand years (m ky−1) for dated reef sequences (OR = Outer Reef and IR = Inner Reef) during the Early and Middle Holocene (see “Methods” and Supplementary Discussion). Age ranges represent the lower and upper ages of each interval over which accretion rates were calculated. The ranges of elevations of samples used to calculate accretion are given in meters below modern mean sea level (m bMSL). The accretion rate indicated by an asterisk was not included in statistical analyses because the upper age of the sequence was not from A. palmata (see Supplementary Discussion).
